Back during the early rubber core era and before, some golfers would revitalize and brighten up their golf balls by repainting them. As outlined on this original can of Halley's Golf Ball Enamel Paint, the best method of repainting was messy; it required the golfer to place a small amount of the enamel paint in a cupped hand and then roll the ball between the palms.
Offered here is a rare early 1900s can of Halley's Golf Ball Enamel Paint. Can is 2 3/8" tall and, without opening the lid, appears to be filled with paint!
