1955 Trans-Miss Amateur Contestant's Medal

        Presented here is an actual contestant's medal from the 1955 Trans-Mississippi Amateur.  The Trans-Miss Amateur is one of the oldest and most prestigious amateur golf tournaments in the country.  In 1955, James Jackson won his second straight Trans-Miss Amateur, a feat that would be equaled a few years later when Jack Nicklaus went back to back in 1958 and 1959.  This medal is a good condition and is a great chance to obtain an actual player's medal from this famous amateur championship.
