Rare Bobby Jones Exhibition
Ticket
Bobby Jones famously retired from competitive golf after winning the Grand Slam
in 1930. He then only played the Masters Tournament, and in a handful of
other exhibitions. Exhibitions were much more popular with professionals
like Walter Hagen, as they could make a good amount of money for a day's work.
But being an amateur, Bobby Jones played in very few exhibitions.
Presented here is a rare ticket to one of those exhibitions. This
exhibition included the great Bobby Jones and Jimmy Thomson against Masters
Champions Sam Snead and Craig Wood, and benefitted The British War Relief
Society.
