1934 Masters Program
Harry Vardon and James Braid
Autographed Display
Harry Vardon and James Braid. Of the 19 Open Championships contested between
1896 and 1914, the Vardon-Braid duo won an astonishing 11 of them! Harry Vardon
died in 1937 and James Braid in 1950 - meaning that these autographs are
exceptionally difficult to obtain. To have one piece containing both autographs
is virtually unheard of, but that is exactly what we offer here. The winning
bidder will receive this phenomenal Vardon-Braid display with autographs of the
two greatest British golfers of their day.
Both the Vardon and Braid signatures have been authenticated by Green Jacket
Auctions. This piece comes with our hologram and matching certificate of
authenticity. We also welcome interested parties to utilize PSA/DNA's "Quick
Opinion" process, which they proudly offer for any lots that Green Jacket
Auctions offers.
