        This is an original painting by famed artist Donald Moss. Moss is well-known for having painted the most Sports Illustrated covers ever used by the magazine. Moss began painting for Sports Illustrated in the mid 1950's and went on to produce Olympic logos and promotional material for the US Open Tennis tournament, the New York City Marathon and the Super Bowl. He also designed 8 commemorative U.S. Postage Stamps.

        This great piece depicts the 1986 Masters, featuring Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson and Seve Ballesteros. This painting appeared as a 3 page gatefold in the April 1987 edition of Golf Digest, pages 72-74. The winner of this lot will not only received this original painting, but also a mint copy of that Golf Digest issue which makes a great companion piece.
