As you've no doubt seen by now, this Winter Golf Auction by Green Jacket Auctions represents one of the greatest sales of golf photographs in history. From Old Tom Morris & the origins of professional golf to Bobby Jones & the founding of Augusta National, many of the offered photographs are among the finest such examples in the hobby.

        This series of 3 photographs were produced in 1939 to illustrate how far the game had come. Images show various vintage and modern (in 1939) golf clubs, including photographs of early longnose clubs and featheries, as well as a rake iron and other patent clubs. Wonderful series in great condition overall and each with a paper caption on the back.
