Infamous Tiger Woods-Hosted
1998 Masters Champions Dinner Menu
Signed by 22 Champs
After Tiger Woods sent shockwaves throughout the sports world with his
dominating victory at the 1997 Masters Tournament, the Champions Dinner that he
would host during the 1998 Masters Tournament was certain to draw large
headlines. But Fuzzy Zoeller ensured that there wasn't a golf fan anywhere in
the world who wasn't familiar with Augusta's Champions Dinner tradition when he
infamously quipped that Tiger shouldn't serve fried chicken or collard greens.
Offered here is one of the actual
menus from the Champions Dinner which Tiger hosted during the 1998 Masters
Tournament. The menu itself states rather simply "Served in honor of Mr. Tiger
Woods." Most golf fans can probably already tell you exactly what Tiger served
at that event - Cheeseburgers, Chicken Sandwiches, French Fries and Milk Shakes
- though this menu gives a complete list of everything offered on Tuesday April
7, 1998.
In all, an amazing 22 Masters
Champions have autographed this original Menu, including a 22 year old Tiger
Woods, as well as Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Tom Watson and, yes, Fuzzy
Zoeller.
