Bing Crosby Letter to Ed Dudley

Thanking Him For a New Putter

         In this auction, we have the extreme privilege of offering the personal collection of the late Ed Dudley. In addition to being a 15 time winner on the PGA Tour, Dudley is probably best known for being the 1st Head Pro at Augusta National. Not only was he Head Pro at Augusta, Dudley also competed in every Masters Tournament from 1934 to 1950. Dudley was also the golf coach for Dwight Eisenhower, Bing Crosby and Bob Hope.

        This is an original Dec 29th, 1960 letter from Bing Crosby to Ed Dudley thanking Dudley for sending him a putter. The letter is on Bing Crosby's own letterhead and is signed "Bing".
