Scarce Ping Anser KBI BeCu Putter
In 1974 Ping made a small number of these Ping Anser putters for "KBI" (Kawecki Berylco Industries). This is the company that supplied the copper for the Ping Copper Eye Two's which first appeared in 1984-85. Karsten made approx. 250 out of beryllium copper, some were given to employees, but most were given to customers. What we do know is that very, very few have surfaced, making this model incredibly rare. The face is stamped with “BeCu” and the cavity is stamped “KBI, Karsten Mfg. Corp., Phoenix, Arizona 85029.” The putter grip is a Grip Rite grip.
