            In this auction, we are fortunate to have some of the rarest Payne Stewart signed golf flags known in the hobby - including single-signed flags from his 1st two Major Championships, and one of the only-known flags from the 1999 Ryder Cup (Payne died a month after the '99 Ryder Cup).

            Offered here is a flag that we always hoped existed, but weren't positive until recently. As we all know, three-time Major Champion Payne Stewart passed away in October 1999 - just a month after his United States team won the '99 Ryder Cup in dramatic fashion. We've seen a couple Payne Stewart autographs on multi-signed 1999 Ryder Cup flags, but did a single-signed example exist? Well, now we know the answer. This is an authentic, official 1999 Ryder Cup flag, which contains an exceptional autograph of the late Payne Stewart, who apparently autographed this flag either during the tournament or shortly after. Payne Stewart's autograph has been authenticated by Green Jacket Auctions, comes with our matching hologram and certificate, and has been entered into our Authentication Database.
