1936 US Open Contestants
Badge
Any items tied to pre-WWII Major Championships
are highly collectible, and this one is no exception, a Contestants Badge from
the 1936 U.S. Open. The 1936 U.S. Open was held at famed Baltusrol,
whereby Tony Manero edged “Lighthorse” Harry Cooper in an exciting
contest. This Badge is in exceptional condition and is one of only 159 that were
originally created and issued to the starting participants.
