Early Golf in America Large Pair of Watercolors
by F. Brooks Dated 1900

A pair of large watercolor paintings by F. Brooks, signed and dated 1900. Painted in an oval format and depicting men and women playing golf in the Chicago area. Most fascinating is the manner of dress, as well as the heart shaped hole markers that were popular from 1890 to 1910. Each painting is 16 1/2" x 14" and framed to 25" x 23".
