Offered here is an ultra rare Ping Karston Redwood City circa 1959 Patent Pending "IA" putter. This is one of the rare "garage putters" that were literally made by future PING founder Karsten Solheim in his garage in the late 50s. It is not known how many of these putters Karsten made in his garage, but it is one of the rarest of all the early PINGs and increasingly difficult to locate especially in fine condition. Karsten's hand milling is quite evident on the putter. One of the harder to find, and most desireable, of Karsten's legendary Redwood City putters - before he moved his shop and founded PING. The putter is 35" inches in length with original Golf Pride Informer grip and collar.
