Offered here is the exceedingly rare "Tyler Niblick" from Ralph G. Tyler. As far are patent clubs go, this center shafted circle face niblck is about as beautiful as they come. Tyler received a U.S. patent for this club in May 1915. It was described as "the most useful club you can put in your bag," and allowed it to be played as a left or right handed club in order to successfully play away from an obstacle. As stated by Jeff Ellis in Clubmaker's Art, the Tyler Niblick "was met with little acceptance." Ellis goes on to state that he only knows of 5 examples that exist.
36 1/2". Very Good condition.
