The 2 highest graded Jack Nicklaus Rookie Cards, the only 2 BGS 10 Pristine copies in the World, have not surfaced in years, and are not in the collections of the biggest golf card collectors or Jack Nicklaus collectors. The collecting community had long given up hope of ever finding them, but we got a lucky break. It turns out that selling the Tiger Slam Irons for $5 million opens doors, and it led to this phone call. And guess what? Those missing 2 BGS 10 Jack Nicklaus Rookie Cards...are owned by the same extremely private collector. How private is this collector? When we asked him to register with Golden Age so that he could track the bidding on this item, he said "I don't have an email address. I don't mess with that stuff." (Seriously!). 

Offered here for the very first time is one of two BGS 10 Pristine (Pop 2) 1981 Donruss Jack Nicklaus Rookie Cards in existence. In the 42 years since the 1981 Donruss Golf set was released, 4,833 of these Jack Nicklaus #13 Rookie Cards have been graded by PSA and BGS. It is hard to imagine another BGS 10 Pristine example ever surfacing.
