Offered here is a circa 1920 Patent "Leven" Practice Driver with measuring system. This revolutionary practice driver contains a mechanism that measures the strength of force used to hit a golf ball, and then recorded to distance it would have traveled. This club is in excellent condition. 

 This club originates from the famed Jeff Ellis Collection, and this exact club was featured in his book The Clubmaker's Art (TCA 1, p. 404, TCA 2, p. 499). This club has not reached the collector market since its sale at the 2007 Sotheby's auction of the Jeff Ellis Collection.
