Offered here is one of the most elusive golf tickets in the world - an original ticket to the 1930 Open Championship, which was won by Bobby Jones en route to his Grand Slam in 1930. Of the 1930 Grand Slam tournaments, both tickets and programs from the 1930 Open at Hoylake are simply impossible to find.
This high grade 1930 Open Championship ticket is almost certainly one of the only examples that will ever surface in the hobby. The ticket does not show a date, but was originally acquired by golf historian and auctioneer Colin Palmer tucked inside a 1930 Open Championship program.
