This c1890s transitional driver, so called because its head is not quite as long as a long nose but much longer than a normal bulger, shows little to no use. The crown is marked "T Morris," to identify Tom Morris as the maker of the club, and "Slazenger & Son New York," to identify the retailer that sold this club. The 44 1/4 " shaft and sheepskin grip are original. This is a near mint early "made for America" golf club.
