Offered here is one of the most coveted of MacGregor persimmon wood sets ever-the famed M85 Eye-0-Matics. Made in 1954-1955, these were the first MacGregors to have the Eye-o-Matic two toned fiber insert. The driver was coveted by tour players for almost 40 years, and was played by many major stars including Ben Crenshaw.

This set is in all amazing all-original condition with neck numbers, original tourney C shafts, gorgeous two toned leather grips and finish. In a close inspection of the clubs there appears to be what are likely superficial cracks finish, which is common for 70-year old clubs. Extremely hard to find in original condition with no face or soleplate damage-in particular importance is the face and crown of the driver in this set. Driver is 43.5"
