Offered here is the legendary Ping KBI Beryllium Copper (BeCu) Anser Putter. The KBI BeCu Anser is among the most famous putters in Ping's history. In the mid 1970s, a company named Kawecki Beryllium Industries (KBI) asked Karsten Solheim to make them a couple hundred putters for its employees out of the company's beryllium copper. Karsten famously did so using an Anser mold that law enforcement had seized from counterfeiters a few years prior. As a result, the KBI BeCu Anser putters actually came out a little smaller than all other PING Anser putters.

It is believed that Karsten only made 200 KBI BeCu Anser putters, which is why they are so desired by collectors today. These were the first ever golf clubs known to be made with beryllium copper.

This Ping Anser putter is stamped BeCu on the toe of the face, and KBI in the cavity. This rare putter is in excellent condition. Includes the original black shaft band and original Pro Only grip. 36".
