Offered here is a very unusual, pre-Titleist Scotty Cameron Tour Prototype made for former PGA Tour player Andy Bean.
Vog says: Scotty made a fair share of putters for Andy. This has a handground sole-look at the perimeter of the sole, and you'll see a lot of radius at the edges. Andy grew up in the South, and the Bermuda greens of his prime had a LOT of grain. The old-school tour players wanted a lot of radius to the edges of the sole, because they were almost paranoid about the putter head getting caught in the grain. This also has a welded short, straight neck; Andy did not like any offset on his putters. This is an old prototype of Scotty's, 1993-1994 era, with the Cartier inspired engraving on the face.
Condition is well-used, 7 out of 10, includes Cameron burgundy Milled Putters NOS (new old stock-a reproduction) headcover. Length is 36" (Andy was 6'4"!)
