The Parlor Putter was a unique indoor golf practice device, allowing enthusiasts to hone their putting skills within the comfort of their homes. Manufactured primarily in the 1920s, these devices were often crafted from brass or cast iron and featured painted details.

The Wellington-Stone Company of Chicago, Illinois, patented The Parlor Putter around 1925. The design functioned both as an ashtray stand and the target for putting practice. The ashtray was up at the top of the stand and the targets were the three half circle openings in the base. Of course the device would also hold three putters and three balls (on the level just below the ashtray level) when nobody was practicing. The original putters are not with this stand, but most any three putters with normal size grips will fit.

Combining functionality with the leisure activity of indoor golf, this 35" tall Parlor Putter stand remains in wonderful original condition with much of its original paint still in nice shape. There are lots of attractive details to its design when you look closely at its different areas.  Load it with a few putters and be ready to roll when you travel back in time!
