Offered here is an exceptional antique hand-woven cane/wicker golf bag. Includes the original strap, and a leather bag tag. 30 3/4 tall 7 3/4 diameter. Very nice condition. 

Wicker golf bags were often designed for carrying fewer clubs—perhaps just a driver, putter, and a few irons. Their compact size and light weight made them easier to handle.  These bags were sometimes used for more casual play.

The craftsmanship of wicker golf bags often reflected the skilled techniques of the wicker artisans of the time. These bags were handwoven, often with leather straps and fittings to enhance both durability and functionality.
