U.S. Open Contestant's Badge from Curtis Strange
Contestant's pins from Major Championships are obviously extremely rare, as only
one is made for each tournament participant and few tour pros ever part with
them. This pin was used by Curtis Strange as his credentials during the 1990
U.S. Open. At the 1990 U.S. Open, Curtis Strange was certainly the star of
the show. He was then the two-time defending U.S. Open Champion going for
his third straight. This year, however, he was no match for Hale Irwin,
who took the prize at Medinah Country Club.
