Merion Golf Club is famously strict about parting with its iconic wicker standards, which simply makes them even more coveted by collectors. Imagine being able to walk into the pro shop at Merion and purchase your very own wicker standard. Well, that's exactly what our consignor did! Granted, this Merion wicker standard is a miniature display version standing 21" tall, but Merion Golf Club actually sold this directly to our consignor many years ago! 

Everything about this original Merion wicker standard is exceptional. Its size, and the fact that it comes on its own base, makes it the ideal piece for display purposes in a home office or man cave. And just like its full-size counterparts, the wicker adorning the top of this piece is a custom wicker in all its imperfect glory! We presume that this is at least approximately the size of the wicker standards on Merion's famed practice putting greens, but we have not compared the two.
