Significant 1930s Coca-Cola Bobby Jones
Die Cut Advertising Sign

Bobby Jones was the most famous product to come out of Atlanta since, well, Coca-Cola. And after he retired from competitive golf, Jones essentially made a living practicing law for the iconic soft drink company. But despite this connection between Jones and Coca-Cola, because of his amateur status, Jones was never able to endorse products such as Coke or anything else. Which brings us to this interesting piece...

Offered here is the most significant Bobby Jones Coca-Cola advertising sign that is known to exist. We know of two small Bobby Jones Coca-Cola advertising pieces, but this huge cardboard sign certainly surpasses everything else that we've ever seen. This sign is special; the die cut sign measures 41" x 18" and is framed to an overall 50 1/4" x 27.5". Alongside Bobby Jones in this advertisement is the great Gene Tunney, who was Heavyweight boxing champion from 1926 to 1928.
