Masters Par 3 Trophy - Champion's Dinner Plate

   Presented here for the first time is a Masters Par 3 Trophy.  This plate was given to Bo Wininger in 1965 as an award for the Par 3 contest held on Wednesday of Masters week.  The current crystal Par 3 Tournament trophies were not presented to winners until a few years later.  What makes this gorgeous plate even more special is that it is actually a Masters Champions Dinner plate as well!  Granted, we highly doubt that this actual plate was used at the Champion's Dinner before being awarded Mr. Wininger, but these are the type of plates that were used for the Champion's Dinner at that time.  Pictured below is a photo of the 1968 Champion's Dinner that shows this type of plate being used.  The picture comes from page 34 of the 1973 book The Masters: Profile of a Tournament  (The one with the fancy Green Jacket cover).  Included with this plate is a letter from the daughter of Bo Wininger.
