1958 PGA Championship Contestant's Money Clip

Money clips have long been associated with golfers and golf tournaments - whether given out as player credentials are produced in limited quantities for patrons or people associated with a particular tournament.  The market is flooded with replica money clips from golf tournaments, but presented here is a rare opportunity to obtain an authentic money clip from an early Major Championship. This money clip was given to a contestant at the 1958 PGA Championship at Lllanerch CC - won by Dow Finsterwald in the first year the PGA Championship adopted stroke play format over match play.
