Significant Claret Jug Bronze Sculpture

(Benefitting Roberto De Vicenzo)

Every day of our life, we have a chance to help others, but here is a chance to help one of our own - former Open Champion Roberto De Vicenzo.

Quite possibly the greatest trophy in golf, the Claret Jug, is authentically reproduced here in bronze. This likely represents the only opportunity any collector will have to obtain an authentic Claret Jug reproduction. This exceptional piece was commissioned as a way to generate money for former Open Champion Roberto De Vicenzo. All proceeds from this sale will go directly to Roberto De Vicenzo.

This exceptional, high-quality piece is titled "Caminante", which in Spanish means a person who walked through life with purpose. Simply put, a better title for a piece dedicated to Roberto De Vicenzo is not possible.

This large sculpture stands 16 1/2" tall and measures 8" wide at the hands, and weighs an amazing 17 pounds. It is directly modeled after the Claret Jug in Roberto De Vicenzo's hands as he hoisted the trophy as Open Champion in 1967. The underside of the right wrist is engraved with Roberto's signature.

Only 15 of these pieces are being commissioned, and the winning bidder of this auction will receive #2 of 15.
